On December 17, NINE15 kicked off Commerce Collective at Lab Zero in Encinitas — a relaxed evening bringing together local brands, founders, and retailers to trade insights, share stories, and celebrate the entrepreneurial energy of our community.

We spotlighted Shopify POS with a live demo store guests could test themselves. People brought their Shopify and eCommerce questions, stories, and pain points, and we worked through them together with the Shopify and NINE15 teams.

Local favorite Caves Wine Shop hosted an Italian wine tasting, and Buona Forchetta — our favorite local Italian spot — brought fresh bites to enjoy while we mingled.
Just the beginning
It was a smaller group, but it confirmed something important for us: there’s value in creating a space for real, thoughtful conversations. So we made it a series — with more gatherings planned for 2026. Same intention, more opportunities to connect, learn, and build together.
